“Climate change (CC) and associated air pollution harm global health. Human well-being is increasingly at risk due to climate fluctuations, severe weather conditions, declining air quality, and increasing uncertainties in the availability of food and clean water. It is anticipated that by the end of the 21st century, Earth’s temperatures will rise further, exacerbating the problem. Both the public and healthcare experts, especially pulmonologists, recognize the harmful impacts of CC and air pollution, endorsing
Educational aims.”

The reader will come to appreciate that:
* Climate change represents a potential threat for the respiratory health of children with non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis
* The potential impact is mediated by alterations of respiratory pathogens biology, modification of human immunity and airway inflammatory response
* Respiratory physicians should be aware of these effects to advocate for their patients and take appropriate actions to alleviate the consequences
